Message from Michael
My primary approach to therapy places strong emphasis on the therapeutic relationship. I believe trust and empathy help us heal and grow.
I ground my work in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), helping clients take actions guided by their values. I also integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients in recognizing and reframing unhelpful thought patterns. CBT can also help deepen awareness of the present and connection to emotional experiences. Together, these can increase resiliance and support meaningful change.
When not working with clients, you can find me spending time with family, at the gym, listening to an audiobook, or watching a good movie.
We provide trauma-informed counseling in a safe and collaborative space to those
seeking healing and deeper connection to self and others.
